LO3/LO4 - Exam answer

The main objective of this campaign is to ensure that Gemini Films can successfully launch their new film 'In Static' with the intention of having it appeal to a niche audience. The social media campaign will be required to meet the needs identified in the brief :
-  Promote their new film 'In Static' towards a young-adult audience in order to increase their viewership
-  Create awareness of their new product to attract the attention of TV magazines and websites so that they can advertise across media 
-  Create awareness of the celebrity 'Harry Stars' being the lead actor within this 
-  Release and spread their trailer and any other promotional material they have made 
In this breakdown I will demonstrate how my selected social media channels can efficiently meet those objectives whilst showing an understanding of other attending factors such as legal and ethical considerations and strategies of measuring social media.

Firstly, we will launch this campaign in January, with all preparations for content released that month and adverts having been produced prior to this time, from this being early to the release we do not want to attract a huge audience right away, nor do we want to release too much information on the film. So from this I believe we should have Harry Sparkie post on Instagram as it is mostly populated by digital content creators, influencers and movie stars alongside their audiences, so it may be seen as less common for a soap star to see, moreover as it is aimed towards at younger audiences it is still an appropriate method to begin to raise awareness. I believe the post should be in the form of a small vlog in which the soap star talks to the audience about how they will be starring in a new film and possibly hint to some of the themes in the movie to attract the interest of audiences and have them wish to seek out information on the film. At the same time we will release teaser photos discreetly throughout the web to entice people into looking for any information, this will possibly attract the attention of content creators that devote their careers to sourcing out hidden information such as 'The Film Theorist' on YouTube, and through their subscribers and their sharing of our leaked information can we synergistically spread awareness.

Through the month of February, we should continue to keep audiences on edge, so we will slowly reveal more and more information, so for this we could have the advertisement team release a
